The day befor yesterday I learned the meaning of following a recipe. Sometimes your memory tricks you, 'cause you just can't remember it all. Even though your memory says 200 degress you can't be sure that the recipe says that to (not even when you've followed the recipe several times!). These almonds tasted and smelled like charcoal and I threw them out.

And then I read the recipe. And it told me that the almonds was supposed to bake at 150 degrees. And as you can se my second try was much, much better. I will upload the recipe another day - I promise.
