Dancing through life

I dag var jeg inde i byen med min kæreste og midt i Tiger begynder han at danse bag ved mig. Først tænkte jeg: "Åh nej, hvor pinligt". Og før jeg tænkte den tanke til ende, tog han fat i mine arme og tvang mig til at danse improviseret jive, mens jeg var ved at dø af grin. Og mens folk kiggede. En kvinde kiggede på mig og grinede på en måde, der gjorde mig varm helt ind i hjertet. Hun syntes ikke, vi var tossede og irriterende. Hun syntes, vi var søde og spredere af glæde. 

Og så kunne jeg også mærke, at dansen ikke var pinlig. Den spreder jo bare glæde. Ligesom min kæreste gør i mit liv - jaja, cheesy - jeg ved det godt. Men jeg elsker ham altså. 

Today I was walking around town with my boyfriend and in Tiger (a kind of 1 dollar store) he started dancing behind me. At first I though: "Oh my, this is embarrasing". Before I ended the thought he took my hands and forced me to do a little jive with him while I was about to die from laughing to hard. And while people were looking. A woman looked at me and laughed in a way that made my heart warm. I could tell that she didn't think we were (too) crazy or annoying. She thought we were sweet and spreading happiness. 

And then the dance stopped being embarrasing. It was just a joy spreader. Just like my boyfriend in my life - I know, I know, it's cheesy, but it's true. And I love him so much.

Lige om lidt tager vi til Tyskland og spreder glæde. Jeg har lidt indlæg klar til jer - og jeg håber, at I er med på at lege lidt med og svare på et par spørgsmål i løbet af weekenden. Men nu ved I i hvert fald hvorfor, hvis jeg ikke svarer på beskeder og offentliggør kommentarer - min computer og jeg holder nemlig ferie væk fra hinanden. Jeg håber, at I allesammen får en god weekend - hvad skal I lave?

Three years of love

So today is our three years anniversary. I ordered this dress from Asos Curve and hoped it would be here in time, so I could wear it today. It's actually my first piece ever from Asos, so I was quite nervous that it wouldn't fit, but it did - and it's so nice I'm actually thinking about getting it in red too.

And now you might be thinking; "If it's her three years anniversary why's she blogging?" I'll tell you why. When we woke up we took our time and got ready for a day in town. We dressed up, I did my hair, put on my make-up and we went out with no other plan than having a good time. We had been talking about going to the museum or playing mini golf at a mall roof. But we started by walking around down town, holding hands and going to a few shops. Then we had lunch at a great little sandwich shop and went for Italian ice cream (for once the weather is wonderful!). 

When it came to deciding on what we wanted to do for the afternoon we were both quite tired and we just felt like going back home to relax. And that's why the pictures are just taken at home instead of at a fancy museum or at a roof top or restaurant. And eventhough it could have been fun to do stuff all day it's really nice to just sit at home as well. Especially since that's what we both felt like doing. In a minute I'll go make some brownies, my boyfriend will start our smokey joe and we'll put som Asti in the fridge. In the end it doesn't really matter what you do, as long as you do the things you want to do.
