Currently dreaming about....

December betyder mere eller mindre shoppestop for mit vedkommende, fordi man aldrig ved, hvad der ender under træet - men derfor må man vel godt sidde og drømme, ikke? Lige nu drømmer jeg blandt andet om:

December always come with a shopping stop for me (at least when it comes to gifts with the tag "from me to me"), because you never know what will end up under the tree at the end of the month. But that doesn't mean you can't dream, right? Right now I'm dreaming about: 

Ansigtsolie fra Nilens Jord, fordi min hud er blevet vanvittig tør efter jeg har født. Muligvis også fordi vinteren er ankommet. Jeg forsøger med fugtgivende serum og cremer, men jeg drømmer om at prøve en ansigtsolie også og håber, at det lige kan give det fugtboost, jeg har brug for. 

English:

Face oil since my skin has gone really, really dry after I gave birth. It might be because of the cold weather too but either way I want to do something about it. 

Den ene halskæde efter den anden.... Den her fra Kobra taler til mig, fordi jeg er vild med perler og fordi jeg godt kunne tænke mig noget, der kunne være et slags barselssmykke. Jeg forestiller mig lillepigens navn og fødselsdato indgraveret og så en lang kæde. Pænt! 

English:

I'm dreaming about one necklace after the other at the moment. This one speaks to me because I love pearls and because I would love a jewellery that reminds me of the pregnancy and birth of my little girl. I imagine her name and date of birth on the tag and a long chain. Pretty!

... men om det skal være den med hjertet i stedet for er jeg meget i tvivl om...?

Nu vi taler om halskæder, ikke? Så er jeg faldet pladask for den her simple skønhed fra Julie Sandlau. Jeg er helt vild med de små sten i kæden og det eneste problem jeg har lige nu er pengepungen og det dér med at beslutte mig for, hvor lang kæden egentlig skal være. Men hold nu op, hvor er den smuk! Før eller siden skal den flytte ind i mit smykkeskrin, har jeg besluttet mig for.

And speaking of necklaces... I'm completely in love with this simple beauty from Julie Sandlau. I love the small stones in the chain and the only problem I have right now is having enough money to buy it and deciding how long I want it to be. It's so beautiful and I'm sure it'll be moving into my life some day, since I can't stop thinking about it. 

Hello Holiday

This week I went to my final exam and now I am officially a bachelor of Anthropology. How crazy is that?! My boyfriend and I celebrated that our vacation has just begun by doing a little bit of shopping, eating at our favourite café and going to see a theater play in a cosy little bar. It was a great day, but it ended quite early because we were both really tired.

The picture (from flickr, the picture will link you right back to the source) pretty much shows you were I would like to be right now. Something like it. At least just some place where the sun comes out. It doesn't seem like it'll come out to play any time soon here i Denmark. Anyway - I'm bound to stay because of my job and stuff like that. I guess the sun will come to say hi sooner or later anyway.

I've been looking so much forward to this vacation. I am going to read a lot of nice books, enjoy the weather (or so I hope.... Right now it's just stormy and raining - yay....), go to Germany with my boyfriend and have the time to take part in The Big Fat Summer Challenge hosted by Jennifer.

Min kæreste og jeg er så småt begyndt at planlægge vores sommertur til en europæisk storby. Jeg kan slet ikke vente, men jeg kan heller ikke beslutte mig. Disse seks byer er på listen nu (og der skulle helst ikke komme flere til) over mulige destinationer. I år er London ude af billedet på grund af OL.

Vi har forsøgt at finde ud af, hvad vi egentlig vil på de forskellige destinationer. Indtil videre er listen ikke ligefrem seriøs, men det er vel stadig værd at skrive sig bag øret.
Amsterdem: Jeg ville nok grine hele ugen, fordi jeg finder sproget meget... fascinerende.
Berlin: Karry wurst og øl (ifølge kæreste)
Dublin: Øl og whiskey (i følge kæreste)
Edinburgh: Whisky (i følge kæreste)
Paris: Fransk kage - behøver jeg sige mere?
Prag: Øl (i følge kæreste)

Hvor ville du tage hen?

My boyfriend and I are starting to plan our summertrip to an European city. I can't wait but I can't decide were I want to go either. These six cities are on the list so far (and we try to keep it that way). This year London is out of the question because of the Olympics.

We're trying to find out why we want to go to the different destinations. So far the list isn't really serious but I guess it's still worth keeping in mind.
Amsterdam: I would laugh all week, because I find the language very... fascinating.
Berlin: Curry wurst and beer (boyfriend says)
Dublin: Beer and whiskey (boyfriend says)
Edinburgh: Whisky (boyfriend says)
Paris: French cake - need I say more...?
Prague: Beer (boyfriend says)
