I've already told you shortly about the Zizzi blogger event that went down last Wednesday in Tivoli, Copenhagen. First of all we were there to be presented to the coming Spring collection and to have a talk about how Zizzi approach the job of designing plus size fashion. 'Cause that's what they want to do first of all; they want to do fashion. Of course their are some concerns involved when it comes to plus size fashion. The measurements are different and they need to make extra sure that the clothes are able to move well, but that doesn't matter that it's not as important for Zizzi to create fashion and take inspiration from the trends that are seen everywhere. I've said it before but let me say it again: I'm impressed by the development I've seen in Zizzi (and other brands now we're at it) during the last few years. It makes me happy that we don't have to feel like we're living in another reality compared to our skinny sisters when it comes to fashion.

The Spring collection is inspired by two different trends; we'll say hello to the 70's, soft lace and soft materials. This part of the collection is called &TRADITION GLITZ. We'll see v-necks, wide pants, metallic surfaces and layers. The white colour will be a part of your wardrobe as will blue and pretty summer prints.
The other part of the collection is inspired by South America and this inspiration is called GLAMAZONE. We'll see natural colours, especially light colours and green. Last summer we saw the first safari touch but this summer it's taken to the next step with a sophisticated and modern version of the practical and comfortable safari outfit. We'll also see lots of botanical and ethnic prints.
In combination these two sides of inspiration gives a ethno-chic impression - and it makes both the anthropologist and fashion lover writing this happy. I for one can't wait until this collection starts hitting stores in February. Under this piece of text you'll see two collages - the first one is made from pieces from these two trends I just told you about. The next one is made from pieces from the new Black Label collection. Once again we're talking about a collection made for the sophisticated and trendy woman. The silhuettes are made to flatter and the materials are just lovely and classic. The colours are classic two and range from black and grey to blue and just a touch of silver. Once again Zizzi and Femmes Regionales has made a collection that does not compromise - and that's excactly what we love about Black Label, right?

What are your first thoughts on the coming collections? Oh and why not end with a few more pictures from a lovely day.

Dear Malene,
SvarSletI totally agree with you in what you write about Zizzi as a fashion designing brand. In fact, for me they make a perfect combination of elegant and stylish fashion and a subtile but very impressive public relations actions.
To be honest, if I could afford it, I would switch a lot of my wardrobe pieces in Zizzi-pieces, because of style and quality. What I got and what I bought from Zizzi so far, are all favorites of mine and in my opinion I fell and look great in it.
When it comes to the next collections, I'm very curious about the Glamazone and the next pieces of the Black Label.
It's nice to see other blogger girls from Denmark! Is there a list of all danish plus size bloggers?
Thank you so much for your comment and your thoughts on Zizzi! I totally agree. Actually Zizzi is under hard critism from a lot of Danish costumers, but I really like the brand. I have so many Zizzi pieces in my wardrobe - I guess it's only natural since it's Danish and has been around in many years here.
SletI can't wait for the next Black Label collection either!
I'm not sure if there's a list of all Danish Plus size bloggers, but I will try to make a list of my favourites bloggers one of these days! If I forget don't hesitate to ask me again!
