Day three and four in Hamburg wasn't much different than the first two, but then again; we went to Hamburg just to relax and have fun. On Sundays most stores, as far as we know, are closed and we didn't feel like going to museums and stuff like that, so we took a walk around the Binnenalster in the snow.
Heldige kartofler.
After our walk around the lake we took the U-bahn to Schanzenviertel again, to visit Herr Max. Again. Needless to say I fell pretty hard for that place. It's really cosy and the cakes are made of the same stuff that dreams are made of - I swear! If you're going to Hamburg you really need to go! And you have to wait in line too, if they don't have a table for you right away. We were lucky and there were room for us both days.
And we walked quite a bit along Mönckebergstraβe, where Mr. Boyfriend took the biggest part in the shopping, and we had coffee at Balzac. And... Oh well.. We ate a bit more at Vapiano.
We didn't go to Starbucks even though I promised my self that I would. But the coffee at Balzac could easily compete and the atmosphere was much better. We did however meet an old man in the tree at Vapiano. Mr. Boyfriend said he was an Ent. Something about The Lord of the Rings that I didn't quite follow. Maybe I should try to figure that universe out.
