BFSC Wear something that's "Hi Lo"

Now I'm back from a wonderful week in Barcelona and I need to get on with the Big Fat Summer Challenge  - after this challenge I'm down to three more. I've really enjoyed the BFSC so far and I don't really want it to end - but I'm also really looking forward to see all the round ups of all the girls that'll finish.

These pictures were taken in Berlin and this first outfit was planned from home. I thought about posting the outfit as the highwasted instead, but (since I already checked that challenge of the list) here it goes: something  high-low. Again; I'm sorry for all the denim jacket-outfits, but with the limited space in my suitcase I didn't have much choice. And I love that jacket so much, it's so comfy.

Denim jacket - Cassiopeia / Top - HM+ / Skirt - New Look Inspire / Sandals - Ecco
When in Berlin.....

The next outfit wasn't planned, but when I came across the dress in H&M on sale I couldn't help it. I also wore it in Barcelona and I love how the light fabric makes it easy to breath in the heat.

Denim Jacket - Cassiopeia / Dress - HM / Leggins - Zizzi / Sandals - Ecco
Once again, I'd rather go without the leggins, but since I was walking around all day they were the most practical. It's either the leggins or painful steps because of my thighs rubbing together for too long in the heat. It's really not much of a choice...

I thought about posting this for the "Something I normally wouldn't waer", since I normally wouldn't walk around something that is THAT striped. But I also really wanted to feature it as the high-low. And then I couldn't choose between this outfit and the other... All the choices one has to make...

Therefore I give to you; To outfit that is "Hi Lo". And the "Something I normally wouldn't wear" will come later this week!

Picture spam: Berlin

Apart from a few outfit posts for the BFSC-challenge I decided to boil our days in Berlin down to this post with these pictures. It leaves out a lot of details, but I guess that's better for all parts - it would take forever for me to write it and it would take forever for you to read it. The short edition of the long story is: If you get the chance to go to Berlin - do it! The same goes for Hamburg.

The East Side Gallery is a 1,3 km. piece of the Berlin-wall which is made into an open air gallery.
The walk along it is amazing!
Also: If you go to Hamburg, Berlin or any other city that has a Vapiano-restaurant - just go there. End of... ;)
We found this crazy/adorable store on Kurfürstendamm that celebrates Christmas all year long!
At first I went in there just for fun... But then I bought a few things for my future Christmas tree.
Anyway... I won't show you until December. I promise. But it's pretty. Oh and by the way;
it is Mr. Boyfriend in the picture. By the tree. Not the guy in the Santa Costume in the tree.

This is also at the East Side Gallery. You've pretty much seen the outfit before - right here - I just added the much seen and much worn denim jacket and a pair of leggins. They may not be very fashionable, but when you're walking around
the city the entire day they're practical as hell. They can even be a life/vacation savior. At least for me. When it's hot
and I walk a lot my thighs rub together and it hurts SO much at the end of the day. I never have that problem wearing
leggins. Today however my boyfriends mother cut the legs of a pair of my leggins, so now they're really short, but they
should do the same job - just without showing. Win!
I pretty much had five seconds to pose with this beauty before it lost it's patience.
We were quite surprised to meet this old guy in Berlin. He's an old, old Danish movie-character.
I was very touched by the Jewish Museum.
And very impressed by the architecture of the Jewish Museum as well.
And of course touched by this.
We went by Primark the same day the store opened in Berlin. It was craaaazy and we didn't stay long.
A bit more of the East Side Gallery
Oh well... When outside of Denmark - go to Starbucks! That's the rule!

Also! I'm off to Barcelona by now, so that's why I'm not responding and publishing comments. I will, when I get back though, so don't be a stranger! And take care.

Travelling the world (... or Europe...)

Right now I should be off to Hamburg (and probably really really bored in a bus. Also if you're wondering why I'm not responding/publishing comments etc. it's because my computer is taking the next few days off). So let's thank the fact, that I figured out how to do planned posts. I've never been that kinda girl, that travelled the world and visited a new country every year with my family. We just always had other priorities and visited beautiful places in Denmark instead.

In my teenage years I went out of the country for the first time ever and went to the ever beautiful Scotland. Later on I visited Rome, Russia, Scotland again, Russia again, Estonia, France, London and London again. So it's not that I haven't seen anything at all, it's just that there's too many places I still want to see. Luckily I'm still young and kinda free and this year I'm checking three places off of my list: Hamburg, Berlin and last week I planned a trip to Barcelona with my sister.

I can't wait to get to Germany and I can't wait to get to Spain. I can't help to love this summer!

If you have any tips for Barcelona; don't be a stranger!

In my bag

Here's what's in my bag these days. Along comes medication for headaches, extra city maps, extra shoes, bottles of water and stuff like that. I love travelling! And now we're pretty much ready to go.

Travel diary - Søstrene Grene / Sunglasses - HM / Lipbalm - Mentholatum / Lipgloss - Yves Saint Laurent
Camera - Olympus / Book about Berlin - Momondo / Phone cover - Pieces (with my HTC Rhyme inside)
Wallet - Camden Market  / Book for reading on the bus (five hours to get there, nine hours to get home!), it's called
"Theses on the existence of Love" / iPod / Wet Wipes - HM / Passport - Denmark ;)

We'll hit Hamburg tomorrow (Saturday) and Berlin on Monday. And I cannot wait! Ich bin bereit.

1, 2, 3 - PLAN!

So we made a decision (partly because we found a really good hotel offer). We're going to Berlin! I bought a travelguide for my boyfriend. Let the planning begin! Well... I "just" have to finish my exams first - and then! Let the planning begin!

If you have any cool tips, let me know!
