OOTD: Date night (og vinderen af min Zizzi Giveaway)

Har I haft en dejlig weekend? Det har jeg i hvert fald! Lørdag aften tog min kæreste og jeg på date. Vi spiste en hyggelig middag i byen og tog så i biografen og det var simpelthen så dejligt. Igår var vi til familiefest, hvor vi fejrede fødseldag og nonfirmation og det var en alletiders dag! I dag skal vi endda til familiefødselsdag igen, så der er altså gang i den i den her weekend, men humøret er højt, selvom jeg er træt fra igår. Men det bliver helt sikkert endnu en hyggelig dag i en dejlig weekend.

How was your weekend? I have! Saturday evening my boyfriend and I went on a date - we had a lovely dinner and went to the movies afterwards and we had a really good time. Yesterday was spend with a lot of family celebrating a young man's birthday and "nonfirmation" as we call it here, when a young man comfirms his non-faith in God (if you confirm your believe in God it's simply confirmation, which you probably know). It was a lovely day! Today we're going to another family birthday, so we've been up to a lot this weekend. But even though I'm tired from yesterday I'm sure today will be great too!

OOTD: Sunset and a 90's twist

Det har været lidt stille herinde, men der er også sket så mange ting ude i mit liv og jeg har haft ret travlt, så dagene er bare fløjet forbi. I dag har dog været stille og rolig (og fyldt med sukker - jeg har det næsten lidt skidt), for vi har været til otte års fødselsdag med alt hvad det indebærer af søde børn, One Direction-gaver, varm kakao og kage. Det har været så hyggeligt, men nu er jeg også træt og glæder mig til at bruge aftenen på at slappe af og se Harry Potter.

It's been quiet in here, but a lot of things has happened lately out here in my life and I've been kinda busy too, so the days has just gone by so quickly. Today has been nice and calm though (and filled with sugar - I almost feel a little sick from it). We've been celebrating a wonderful little girl who turned eight and it included cute children, One Direction presents, hot chocolate and cake. It was nice, but I'm also really tired now and looking forward to doing nothing but watch Harry Potter on TV.

Jeg har på fornemmelsen af foråret og sommeren kommer til at handle en helt masse om nederdele og kjoler for mit vedkommende. Jeg har før haft årelange perioder af mit liv, hvor jeg ikke har nærmet mig et par bukser. Det var noget der mindede om fem år, kun afbrudt af en tur til Vatikanet, hvor jeg blev nødt til at dække mine knæ med et eller andet. Bukserne vandt mit hjerte lidt igen for et par år siden, men kjoler og nederdele bliver vist aldrig væltet af førstepladsen - bestemt ikke i år!

I've got a feeling that this Spring and Summer will be all about skirts and dresses for me. I've had looong periods of my life where I wouldn't even come near a pair of pants. I think I lived in dresses and skirts for five years, except that one visit to the Vatican City where I had to cover up my knees with something... Over the last couple of years a few pair of jeans has moved into my closet, however skirts and dresses will probably never be knocked off the first place - definately not this year!

Som lovet kommer her en outfit edition fra min ferie på Kreta. Jeg havde kun håndbaggage med, så det var begrænset, hvad der var pakket i kufferten. Det hele er til gengæld noget af mit favorit sommertøj. 

As promised: an outfit edition from my vacation in Crete. I  only travelled with cabin luggage so I didn't bring too much clothes, but what I took with me were all my favourite summer clothes.

POD: Wedding Bells

Det er majs sidste mandag og det betyder, at det er tid til Plus Size Outfit-dag igen. I denne måned er temaet  "Bryllupsklokker" - et emne, som står til fri fortolkning; nogle vil nok vise billeder fra deres bryllupsdag, mens andre vil vise, hvad de vil tage på som brudepige. Mig? Jeg er jo ikke gift, så jeg har tænkt over, hvad jeg kunne finde på at tage på som bryllupsgæst. Det afhænger selvfølgelig af festens tema, men jeg har taget udgangspunkt i den slags bryllupper, som jeg umiddelbart selv vil nyde allermest. Jeg har ikke været til bryllup i mange, mange år, men der er ingen tvivl om, at jeg er mest fan af rimeligt stille og rolige, hyggelige fester, der hylder kærlighed og rart samvær mellem mennesker, som holder af hinanden. Og derfor synes jeg altså, at det her outfit passer til den slags bryllup, som jeg allerhelst vil til! 

It's the last monday of May and it means it time for Plus Size Outfit Day yet again. The theme of this month is Wedding Bells - and the  theme quite open. Some might post pictures of their wedding day, some might dress up as bride maids, me? Since I'm not married, I've been thinking about what kind of outfit I would wear if I was going to a wedding as a guest. It all depends on the theme of the party, I know, but I chose to dress according to the kind of weddings I like! I haven't been at a wedding for several years, but there's no doubt that I like the relaxed kind of wedding parties best - you know; parties with love at the center and just having a good time with people who care about eachother.  It doesn't have to be all fancy and over the top - just cosy and relaxed. And I think this outfit would go for at wedding like that!

OOTD: Bring me flowers

Det er længe siden! Jeg har været fanget i en masse sygdom (har hostet og snottet i noget der minder om to måneder nu), en travl hverdag og i vintertræthed. Jeg længes inderligt efter foråret og sørger for at købe blomster til mine vaser oftere end ellers - det giver da i det mindste lidt instant indendørs forårsfeeling. 

It's been a while! I've been caught up in a lot of illness (I've been coughing and sneezing for almost two months now), busy weeks and winter blues. I'm longing so much for Spring and I buy flowers more often than I'm used to - at least that brings along instant indoor Spring feeling.

Det her havde jeg på i dag, da jeg skulle ud at handle ind med lillesøster. Aftenen har stået på søsterhygge og x-factor finale. Fra imorgen har jeg planer om at ryste mig selv lidt ud af vintertrætheden - bare fordi foråret lader vente på sig, behøver jeg jo ikke gå rundt og være trist og grå. Så det er hermed en aftale. Så kommer jeg nok også forbi bloggen noget oftere. 

I wore this today when I was shopping for dinner with my little sister. The evening was spent with the x-factor finales and laughing and eating and drinking hot white chocolate. Starting from tomorrow I'm planning to shake these winter blues off of me. It's a deal. I guess that means I'll be coming by this blog more often too!

Lovely Lace

Lige for tiden er jeg ret vild med blondedetaljer. Så fint, skrøbeligt og feminint. Jeg er især helt vildt med sweateren fra Asos Curve. Den er så flot!

Right now I'm all about the lace details. So pretty, fragile and feminin. I especially love the sweater from Asos Curve. It's so beautiful!

OOTD: Where did all the flowers go?

 Here's what I wore when I went to my boyfriends father's birthday yesterday. We had a nice day with nice people, nice cakes and nice children. I'm so happy that my hair is long enough (finally!) to do something else than just leave it hanging. Wonder how long it will be before I'll cut it off again.

I had a few "in love at first sight" experiences today. All of the things above are some of them. Especially the printed jeans and the butterfly necklace. My boyfriend's only comment to the jeans was "They sure are... flowery". He's right - and I really like them!

As for the necklace... It's from Ladybird Likes and there's a lot of beautiful, beautiful things on her shop. I probably shouldn't show it to anyone at all and just keep it my little secret, 'cause by showing others I risk they'll all be sold out before I get there! But I'm sooo in love, so I just can't keep my mouth shut. Anyway; I already planned this thing... I'll buy jewelry from Ladybird Likes when I've reach my first goal in my weight los. Guess I need to do it quick!

BFSC Wear a cropped top

I can't believe that after I post this, I only have one more challenge to do. The Big Fat Summer Challenge is coming to an end and I actually think it's kind of sad. I've been having so much fun with planning the outfits, pushing my comfort zone and getting inspired by all the other wonderful ladies taking part in the fun. I can't wait until Jennifer (or someone else?) will do another fall/winter/spring/summer/something-challenge. 

With this post I'll cross the cropped top of my list. Along with the two pieced bikini it send the biggest shivers down my spines and made me really nervous. I had an outfit planned in my head for quite a while, but couldn't get around to do it and then I stumpled across this top in H&M, fell in love with the colour (I've been wearing blue all summer...) and brought it home. 

At first I thought I would style it with my "Hi Lo"-skirt, but then I accidentally bought jeans as well... And a denim-jacket. Woops. So when I got back from work yesterday I did an outfit with the jeans and the top. The pictures didn't come out all that great, if you ask me, so today when I got back from work I did it with the skirt instead. And the denim jacket, because it is colder than yesterday! Apart from other shoes as well the rest is the same; same hair, same make-up, same nail-polish, same watch, same jewelry, same bag. Well, same me. And most importantly; same cropped top. And now I can't choose - so I'll show you both.

When I look at these pictures again I can't help to think, that maybe some shapewear would've done me good. But I do not own such a thing and then again... That's just how I look. I don't even really like wearing shapewear (based on the times I've tried them on...) and I won't buy one before I find one that feels comfortable. And then again; I really don't think shapewear should be mandatory just because you have wobbly bits.

BFSC Wear something that's "Hi Lo"

Now I'm back from a wonderful week in Barcelona and I need to get on with the Big Fat Summer Challenge  - after this challenge I'm down to three more. I've really enjoyed the BFSC so far and I don't really want it to end - but I'm also really looking forward to see all the round ups of all the girls that'll finish. 

These pictures were taken in Berlin and this first outfit was planned from home. I thought about posting the outfit as the highwasted instead, but (since I already checked that challenge of the list) here it goes: something  high-low. Again; I'm sorry for all the denim jacket-outfits, but with the limited space in my suitcase I didn't have much choice. And I love that jacket so much, it's so comfy.

When in Berlin.....

The next outfit wasn't planned, but when I came across the dress in H&M on sale I couldn't help it. I also wore it in Barcelona and I love how the light fabric makes it easy to breath in the heat.

Once again, I'd rather go without the leggins, but since I was walking around all day they were the most practical. It's either the leggins or painful steps because of my thighs rubbing together for too long in the heat. It's really not much of a choice... 

I thought about posting this for the "Something I normally wouldn't waer", since I normally wouldn't walk around something that is THAT striped. But I also really wanted to feature it as the high-low. And then I couldn't choose between this outfit and the other... All the choices one has to make... 

Therefore I give to you; To outfit that is "Hi Lo". And the "Something I normally wouldn't wear" will come later this week! 

BFSC Wear short shorts

I spend the last few days in my boyfriends family's vacation house by the sea. We were lucky enough to see the sun for some of the time (but we were also stuck inside due to the pouring rain at times), and we had a wonderful time walking around in the most beautiful little town called Ebeltoft and babysitting my boyfriends cute little nephew. 

The vacation house by the sea also means; pretty much no internet! So I left my computer at home, but asked my boyfriend to bring his camera so I could put a few outfit posts together for Jennifers Big Fat Summer Challenge when I got back home. And here I am!

I wore this outfit to Ebeltoft. The sun was out, we had amazing tapas at the cutest little restaurant and just had a great time. I bought these shorts on sale last week. I'm in love with the blue colour at the time so I liked the shorts right away. When I found my size on sale I couldn't resist. 

 So I bought the shorts. Even though I had my doubts - would I even wear them? For the longest time I have been a skirt/dress kinda girl, and I didn't were any kind of pants for several years. Also I had a few years of not wearing anything but tights afraid of showing of my legs, I guess. Anyway; here I am, growing up, wearing jeans regularly - and shorts too! I have a feeling I'm going to live in these this summer. Love 'em! I guess, the term "short shorts" is relative - but to me this is short shorts, since it's the first time for me in ages wearing something above the knee.
