Go grab your coat!

I learned a lot of things from working in a store. Sometimes it feels like a different life because so much has happened since then but I still learned a few tips that I took with me - and I'm not planning on forgetting them! The first tip is: the winter coats are always gone from the stores before winter comes! It seems like summer just ended last week and that's why I'm already a little late with this post. But the point is; If you need a new coat for winter, then it's time to go get it now!

Summer moments: Beautiful Crete #5 OOTD edition

As promised: an outfit edition from my vacation in Crete. I  only travelled with cabin luggage so I didn't bring too much clothes, but what I took with me were all my favourite summer clothes.

Mine sandaler
er som altid fra Ecco.
Here I am at Fortezza wearing a skirt from JUNAROSE and a t-shirt from Cassiopeia.
As always my sandals are from Ecco.

POD: Picnic in the Park

A few months ago my boyfriend got a great offer on a really nice tapas from a café in Aarhus. It was a lovely Saturday, a few weeks ago, the sun was shining from a blue-blue sky and we enjoyed our day off and our tapas in the park. The plans we made turned out to fit the theme of this month's POD perfectly so I've been hiding the pictures in a secret place until now.

OOTD: New glitter

Yesterday I told you that I started a "no shopping"-period after buying a shirt and the blazer and sequin-jumper on the photos. I haven't decided how long the period will be, but I'm counting on all of November. I guess it'll be a long month!

I wore this yesterday because I felt like celebrating that is was almost weekend. I don't really have any plans, but I'm working Sunday and I will be studying too. I like weekends without too many plans!

Blazer - Nanna XL / Jumper - Cassiopeia / Jeans - ZJ
Boots - Roots / Scarf - Bit'avant

BFSC Wear something that's "Hi Lo"

Now I'm back from a wonderful week in Barcelona and I need to get on with the Big Fat Summer Challenge  - after this challenge I'm down to three more. I've really enjoyed the BFSC so far and I don't really want it to end - but I'm also really looking forward to see all the round ups of all the girls that'll finish.

These pictures were taken in Berlin and this first outfit was planned from home. I thought about posting the outfit as the highwasted instead, but (since I already checked that challenge of the list) here it goes: something  high-low. Again; I'm sorry for all the denim jacket-outfits, but with the limited space in my suitcase I didn't have much choice. And I love that jacket so much, it's so comfy.

Denim jacket - Cassiopeia / Top - HM+ / Skirt - New Look Inspire / Sandals - Ecco
When in Berlin.....

The next outfit wasn't planned, but when I came across the dress in H&M on sale I couldn't help it. I also wore it in Barcelona and I love how the light fabric makes it easy to breath in the heat.

Denim Jacket - Cassiopeia / Dress - HM / Leggins - Zizzi / Sandals - Ecco
Once again, I'd rather go without the leggins, but since I was walking around all day they were the most practical. It's either the leggins or painful steps because of my thighs rubbing together for too long in the heat. It's really not much of a choice...

I thought about posting this for the "Something I normally wouldn't waer", since I normally wouldn't walk around something that is THAT striped. But I also really wanted to feature it as the high-low. And then I couldn't choose between this outfit and the other... All the choices one has to make...

Therefore I give to you; To outfit that is "Hi Lo". And the "Something I normally wouldn't wear" will come later this week!

BFSC Wear a maxi skirt or dress

I just came back from my trip to Hamburg and Berlin. I loved it, and I promise I will post more pictures from my trip. But first of all; a post for the Big Fat Summer Challenge. I made sure to pack a few things that would fit some of the challenges I hadn't done yet, even though it made the packing part a bit more complicated.

Dress - Jacqueline Riu (bought in Bayeux a few years ago)
Denim Jacket - Cassiopeia / Sandals - Ecco
But you know... A suitcase has limited space, and especially since I'm travelling around with a handbagage-sized suitcase, because it's easy to get around with (and it never gets too heavy, so I can't handle it my self). That (the fact that the suitcase space isn't unlimited) and the fact that sometimes you just find a piece that you  pretty much live in, means that you will get to see this denim jacket quite a lot. You've already seen it here, now it's here again and it won't be the last time. Clearly I don't believe in the; "Wear once, never wear (at least on blog pictures) again"-policy.

These pictures were taken in Hamburg, which is a wonderful city! I fell in love pretty much right away (or at least after getting out of the "Hauptbahnhoof"-area. This day was wonderful. We spend the morning and early afternoon at a small festival/market by the water. The weather was great and I got a sunburn, which I'll probably show you later. We spend the afternoon at Hamburgs Museum of ethnology, which was great! The last picture was taken in a chinese tea-garden just by the museum.

BFSC Wear a bodycon outfit

As earlier mentioned I had my final exam last week. I am now a bachelor in anthropology and enjoying my vacation until my master studies begins in September. Vacation means a lot more time for the things you really want to do but usually don't really have the time to do - like reading books (except for the study related books of course...), baking nice things, walking around the city all day and taking pictures... Of yourself for example.

All this is leading up to the fact, that I am now checking the first challenge of the Big Fat Summer Challenge List. I have been looking forward to this day, but haven't had the time until now. Also I didn't now where to start until this morning when I asked my boyfriend to pick a number. He said 7, that meant Bodycon to me.

Kjole - HM / Denim jacket - Cassiopeia / Leggins - HM / Necklace - Pilgrim
Bag - bought at a French market / Sandals - Ecco
Up and close details of the necklace charm from Pilgrim. It was gifted to me by my little sister  years ago.
It means the world to me.

Fortunately this dress was gifted to me by the very same boyfriend last week. I had been looking at this dress and others like it for a while online, so when I stumpled across it down town (and since I needed one for this challenge) it had to come home with me.

Of course I didn't buy this dress just because of the challenge - I can't spend money that way. But I have to be honest with you; in the beginning I thought; "Fine... You'll buy the dress, wear it at home, let your boyfriend enjoy the look, get used to it and then.... maaaybeeee, wear it in public." What happened was this; I pulled it out of the bag, put it on, took the pictures and.... well, I went inside and changed to tights and shoes because, even though the Danish summer of mystery showed itself from it's pretty side today, it was too cold for sandals. At least it was too cold when we went out the door and...

Went shopping down town. All day! In a bodycon outfit. For the first time ever (well... The bodycon part, not the shopping...).
