Big Fat Summer Challenge post of the day! Feel like I'm falling behind all the other girls and looking at a few weeks of travelling great cities of Europe I guess I have to speed things up just a bit. Anyway! This is the challenge that freaked me out the most when I signed up for this. I actually made a deal with the fabulous hostess of the challenge, Jennifer of
Jasifer lionsclub, that I would probably swap the "two piece bikini" with a "swimsiut", because I had just ordered my first swimsuit in years. At least a one I actually really wanted for my self.
And now, before you read on, I will have to warn you about me living in Denmark. Denmark is a wonderful country in many ways, but sometimes it seems someone forgets about the Danes when it comes to summer sun. So I would like to warn you of very, very pale Scandinavian jiggly bits. With that being said:
So I entered the challenge and couldn't quite kick the idea of a two piece bikini out of my head. I had just ordered a swimsuit and being a student I don't really have a lot of money to spend on impulsive thoughts, so I thought about it some more... And I tried on a two piece bikini. It wasn't the worst thing I've done. But the style wasn't quite for me, especially because the top didn't support my (quite big...) girls at all. However I did take a picture of it (even though the quality of the picture isn't all that great - but it's there), as a prove that I gave it a lot of thought.

And even though I'm not going to rock the bikini at the beach this year I posted a picture of myself in a bikini online. I guess that counts for something. At least I know it was quite a big step for me even taking the bikini of the shelfs! Maybe I will save up some money and buy a more expensive bikini next year with lots of support for whatever needs to be supported....

I am planning to go to the beach this year: and this is what I will be wearing. I went to the beach a few days ago when the sun was out. And even though the water was cold and I'm not very fond of water at all I went in. And I felt great in my new swimsuit. Not even for one second did I worry that anything would pop out to say hello. I can't wait to go to the beach in Barcelona in this suit.
I wasn't quite sure if I wanted to post this last picture, but my boyfriend/photographer liked it so much and said: "I can just tell you're glowing in this suit from this picture!". I'm more tempted to notice the funny, crooked face I'm making because of the sun blinding me... But I guess the photographer has a say in this too!
